What You Will Learn In Our CNA Course
- Move patients in bed, transfer patient from bed to chair and vice versa.
- Assist patients who are not able to toilet on their own.
- Bathe patient and provide hygiene and comfort.
- Help patients with feedings and ADLs.
- Participate with restorative or rehabilitative care of patients unable to move and walk.
- Apply dry dressings to wounds and clean bed sores.
- Position patients to prevent risk of bedsores.
- Learn warning signs of complications.
- Document and report observations of significant changes on patients’ conditions.
The course will teach you how to help a patient maintain their sense of dignity, maintain and respect patient’s privacy, communicate with patients and their family, and you will learn how to become a critical part of the healthcare team.
